Wendy Wang received BS degree in Economics Statistics from Beijing Forestry University and earned MS degree in Professional Accounting from San Diego State University in 1999. Since then she has been working as a senior accountant in the construction and Hi-tech industries. Currently she is working a full time job for a hi-tech company. She enjoys volunteering work and loves to contribute more to CACC community.

Yiru Jian holds a Master’s Degree in statistics. She has 20 years of experience in quantitative analytics, and is currently employed by a financial institution. Before moving to the US, she taught statistics courses at a university. Her hobbies include reading, exercising and volunteering.

Qingsong Zhang received his Ph. D. in metallurgy from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. After being two years post-doc research, he changed his career and joined Hewlett Packard as IT Specialist, IT Consultant and IT Architect. He has more than 15 years experience as software release and development manager in Agilent, Amersham Bioscience, Affymetrix and GE Digital. He currently works as Sr. Manager of DevOps in Walmart eCommence. Qingsong has been a long time CACC volunteer (13 years) and willing to devote himself to the CACC community.

Pei Li received his MSEE from Virginia Tech, and BSEE from Shanghai Jiaotong University, in 1995 and 1993, respectively. He has 20+year of chip design experience working for Cyrix, Bell Labs, Philips, Cisco, Altera/Intel, Apple. He currently works as SoC engineer in Apple. He enjoys volunteering work and community building.

Monica Mo has a MS degree in Information Systems and has been working as an IT professional for 20 years. Currently Monica works as a Business System Analyst for a bank project to migrate legacy system into Salesforce cloud platform. Monica has been helping CACC classes activities as a room parent and a student herself since 2007. During her leisure time Monica enjoys music, dancing and travel around the world.

Jun Xue holds a BS degree in Computer Science and has been working in the area of telecommunication for over 20 years. Currently he works in a networking company in the area of VoIP and Mobility. Jun moved to Pleasanton in 2005 and has been part of the CACC family since then. Jun has been actively involved in various volunteering activities in the local community, and was one of the key volunteers to help organize the 2012 CACC Gala and Carnival.

Harry Gao has over 20 years of professional marketing-related experience. He has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Zhejiang Institute of Technology and an MBA in Marketing from University of San Francisco . As the product manager for Johnson & Johnson ( China ) ltd, he helped establishing Johnson′s baby products in China . He currently works with a customer data analysis team that provides analytic supports to various managements in Safeway. Karen received her Bachelor′s and Master′s degrees, both in Biochemistry from Nankai University in Tianjin, China. She then taught Organic Chemistry in Peking University in Beijing for 4 years. She earned her Ph.D. degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology from University of Louisville, KY, USA, while she also served as a campus resident building manager for 3 years. Her post-doctor training was completed at UCSF. She is currently working for a global biotech company. Since moving to Pleasanton in 2004, Lily Zhang has been an active member of CACC, volunteering at numerous community events and teaching at CACC Chinese School. Her strong interest in performing arts has led her to become an integral member of the organizing committee for the CACC New Year Gala in recent years. By joining the Board of Directors in 2009, she hopes to help making CACC a close-knit “extended family” to all its members, and to inspire more people to volunteer for the Tri-Valley Chinese community. Lily received her Master of Arts and Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, and is currently working as a staff attorney for a Legal Services Corporation in Oakland. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, teaching, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Jingjing Xu served as Founding President of CACC from 2003 - 2005. She worked with her peers to spearhead the effort of growing a new generation of Chinese American organization exemplified by CACC. Professionally, Dr. Xu has nearly two decades of trans-Pacific experience as a policy analyst, transaction attorney, investment banker and technology investment fund manager. She is Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Meridian Century Holdings. She received Bachelor of Law from Beijing University, Masters degree from Beijing ICIR and Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis.
