Hong MEI, President.
Mr. Mei is a licensed professional civil engineer in the state of California with a MS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. After many years as a consulting engineer in Transportation and Infrastructure Engineering at many levels of analytical, design and managerial positions , Mr. Mei now works for a local government transit district.

Lily ZHANG, Vice President.
Since moving to Pleasanton in 2004, Lily Zhang has been an active member of CACC, volunteering at numerous community events and teaching at CACC Chinese School. Her strong interest in performing arts has led her to become an integral member of the organizing committee for the CACC New Year Gala in recent years. By joining the Board of Directors in 2009, she hopes to help making CACC a close-knit “extended family” to all its members, and to inspire more people to volunteer for the Tri-Valley Chinese community.
Lily received her Master of Arts and Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, and is currently working as a staff attorney for a Legal Services Corporation in Oakland. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, teaching, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Harry GAO, Secretary General.
Harry Gao has over 20 years of professional marketing-related experience.
He has a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Zhejiang Institute of Technology and an MBA in Marketing from University of San Francisco . As the product manager for Johnson & Johnson ( China ) ltd, he helped establishing Johnson′s baby products in China . He currently works with a customer data analysis team that provides analytic supports to various managements in Safeway.
Harry wishes to help the local Chinese community make a bigger contribution to the tri-valley communities that we all enjoy living in.

Karen ZHU, Treasurer.
Karen received her Bachelor′s and Master′s degrees, both in Biochemistry from Nankai University in Tianjin, China. She then taught Organic Chemistry in Peking University in Beijing for 4 years. She earned her Ph.D. degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology from University of Louisville, KY, USA, while she also served as a campus resident building manager for 3 years. Her post-doctor training was completed at UCSF. She is currently working for a global biotech company. She loves to contribute to the communities by volunteering for different organizations, including CACC, Nankai Alumni, Northern California Hubei Association, etc.

David YU, Director.
David Yu graduated from Shanghai University of Science & Technology, and earned his MBA degree from California State University. He has been working in sales/marketing in the CD/DVD manufacturing industry for a decade. As one of the key volunteers, he has been an active supporter of CACC since 2003.

Daniel NIU, Director.
Mr. Niu obtained his BS and MS degrees in Physics from Shandong University, and he also received his MS degrees in Chemical Engineering and Physics from LSU in Baton Rouge, LA. He has extensive technical and managerial experience in R&D and Manufacturing in medical device, automotive and telecommunication industries.

Lisa LIN, Director.
Lisa Lin received BS degree in agriculture engineering in China and earned MS degree in computer science from NPU of California. Many years working experience as a software engineering and a customer support. She also had the experience in the food processing business. Now She is switching her career to real estate.
