Dennis ZHANG, President. Dr. Zhang has been an enthusiastic volunteer at CACC since its founding in 2003. Dr. Zhang obtained an MBA in Finance and a Ph.D. in Biology, both from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor’s degree from the Ocean University of China. Dr. Zhang specializes in financial planning & analysis, budgeting & investment decisioning, and financial modeling. Gary LI, Vice President. Gary Li is a California State University professor of geography and environmental studies. He also provides consulting services of geographic information management and analysis for local government agencies and various industries. As a board member, he is committed to make CACC a sustainable platform for continuous cultural and economic activities in the area. Jessie WANG, Treasurer. Jessie Wang received a B.S. of Management degree from Fudan University and a MBA degree from California State University, Hayward. She obtained her accounting training from PwC and Moss Adams. As a seasoned CPA and controller of a publicly-traded company, she is experienced in SEC reporting, tax, and financial planning and analysis. Lily ZHANG, Secretary General. Since moving to Pleasanton in 2004, Lily Zhang has been an active member of CACC, volunteering at numerous community events and teaching at CACC Chinese School. Her strong interest in performing arts has led her to become an integral member of the organizing committee for the CACC New Year Gala in recent years. By joining the Board of Directors in 2009, she hopes to help making CACC a close-knit “extended family” to all its members, and to inspire more people to volunteer for the Tri-Valley Chinese community. Lily received her Master of Arts and Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, and is currently working as a staff attorney for a Legal Services Corporation in Oakland. Jingjing XU, Director. Dr. Jingjing Xu served as Founding President of CACC from 2003 - 2005. She worked with her peers to spearhead the effort of growing a new generation of Chinese American organization exemplified by CACC. Professionally, Dr. Xu has nearly two decades of trans-Pacific experience as a policy analyst, transaction attorney, investment banker and technology investment fund manager. She is Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Meridian Century Holdings. Jane WEN, Director. Ms. Wen received her Master's degree in Industrial Management in New Jersey Institute of Tech. in 1990, and worked in the international technology transfer field for many years. She then obtained her 2nd degree and switched her career to IT since 1995. Daniel NIU, Director. Mr. Niu obtained his BS and MS degrees in Physics from Shandong University, and he also received his MS degrees in Chemical Engineering and Physics from LSU in Baton Rouge, LA.
